Testimonials
I had been struggling with getting our SQL-Servers to send email. As Stephen
mentions in his article, trying to configure an email profile to work with SQL
Agent, etc. was a real pain. I thought I would take a chance with SQLAnswersMail
and see what it could do. I was extremely pleased with the product. Not only
would it do everything I want it to and then some, but the price was right, too.
I make use of the "on-the-fly" sql statement processing to send our IT team
daily helpdesk performance statistics. You can string several T-sql statements
one after the other and have the results all neatly packaged into one email.
Installation and configuration was a snap and it worked the first time. I'm sold
on it.

We purchased SqlAnswersMail originally just to replace the problematic mail
functionality of SQL Server 2000, figuring that once SQL Server 2005 came
out, we wouldn't need SqlAnswersMail anymore. Now that we've had an
opportunity to use the advanced functionality of the product such as rich
formatting of emails and .pdf attachments, the "new and improved" email
functionality of SQL Server 2005 just isn't good enough to replace
SqlAnswersMail.
